I have the dv-7-1245dx & it’s a very nice computer. I bought it last February & it came with Windows Vista, but I recently upgraded to Windows 7 & now it performs much better. It’s the 2nd laptop I’ve ever owned, my first being a hp zv5000. I still have it & still use it ocassionally for playing old games because it has Windows XP.

I have a DV7-3067cl and it rocks. If you want one with a Blu-Ray drive the 3067nr is good although it has a slower CPU and lower end video card.
Planning on buying this next month. It’s got sweet specs for an affordable price where I’m getting it.

This computer is the best. I just bought it yesterday for 800.00 it’s a DV7-3165DX. I love this computer does whatever i want it to do. Has 2 extra monitors hooked up. Best ever.
I’m using it right now. It certainly gets the job done.
It’s no monster machine, so don’t expect to be able to play games like Crysis or GTA IV. Other high quality games that aren’t as demanding in graphics will run well, but don’t expect settings of next-gen quality to run smoothly.
I can play Dead Space, Mass Effect, UT3, Left 4 Dead, Mirror’s Edge, and other lower quality games at somewhat modest settings. I’m no graphics-whore, so it’s not a problem.
