How to reinstall Windows XP from recovery disc in a Sony Vaio Laptop?

The Sony Vaio recovery disc contains all Sony software + Windows XP installation files. Sony Web pages never show any support for this problem. Is there any way to reinstall a corrupt Windows XP, without installing the rest of other softwares?

Why does the screen on my Sony Vaio keep going a shade of blue?

I bought a Sony Vaio (VGN-NR32M) in Sept and its been fine till now, its recently started flashing a turqoise shade of blue where any part of the screen should be white. Sometimes if I am watchin a film it will go back to normal but It’ll soon change again. I have been told it could be down to video drivers but I am not sure, could anyone help me?
No seperate screen appears with numbers, its just the white on the page goes blue.

How do I get sound drivers for my Japanese sony vaio?

I bought a sony vaio laptop in Japan, it was in Japanese so I took that off and put the English windows on, the sound drivers were lost in the process, my computer just dosen’t have them. I spoke to sony and they said I would need to send the computer back to japan to get it sorted, have looked on all the websites, including sony vaio Japan and there are no drivers to download, the ones I tried didn’t work. A friend said I could get a soundcard and it would work, is this right? What alse can I do? Thanks

How do you use the web Camera on sony vaio computer?

You see I have a sony vaio computer with a built in motion eye web camera but I don’t’ knew how to use it outside of youtube.What I want to knew is how do you find it and use it outside of youtube.And then when you find the web camera and film your thing how do you then put the film in windows movie maker.
